- Garapa Decking/Flooring/Siding: (Brazilian Oak)

Garapa wood decking lumber has a Lemon-yellow color that becomes light brown (honey) with age. Garapa hardwood has a slight ribbon-like natural design, appears watery or wavelike, similar to silk. Garapa decking is naturally resistant to wood decay and insect damage. It also has a class A fire rating - the same as concrete.

Garapa wood is also naturally scratch resistant and has an estimated useful life of 25 years. Deck preservatives will add a lot more years to its life span.
